Template transfer in-game.
Simple. We have templates. Woohoo!
It's easy to trade'm, just copy the string, remake a .txt file, and done!
But...why not make a template trade interface in game? Really easy, shouldn't take too much code or bandwidth.
Example:
JR- wants to send the following template(s): Uber 1337 galedom mesmer; LoD emo; etc....
Accept Yes/No.
You click Yes, the string gets sent over to your pc, they copy the .txt to your HD...and done!
This should make template setups really easy, switching people out in gvg etc.
I have no idea why A.net didn't think of this, or didn't implement it yet....
*edit* some people in #gwp claim it might not be safe. Bypass any hacking should be simple:
The template JR- wants to send to me, is first loaded on his pc, then put into a string, and then sent over. So you don't just send the .txt, that could've been altared with a virus etc. You merely send the string, which is then saved in a .txt on the receiving client.
A small scheme clarifying it a bit:

Why would you trade templates?
Im assuming you mean to charge for them?
You cant charge someone for a set of skills they already own.
Plus if you give them a template containing skills they dont earn, it wont work.
I like the idea of exchanging templates for free, but I think that should be left to the guildwars.com website or other supporting websites to create a page which allows that.

Are you a pve'er or what? Why would you want money for everything you "own"?
I just want an easier way to giving builds to other people. Person A stops flagrunning, all he has to do is send the build to Person B, and he can start right away. Less hassle. Charging money for builds....I just had a good laugh mate, thank you!

Here's why. Let's say a team wants a specific team build. The leader could just trade the spec to each teammate before the fight.

Great idea IMHO, also like the idea of having a place you can store templates for the whole guild.

How can Gaile view that A.net improves that safety? She's just a community relations person, not a supervisor of some sort ( AFAIK )
